The Perfect Time To Chase.......

I wake up to the soft glow of morning, a quiet reminder that today is special. Another year, another step closer to 50.

Now I know better. Age isn’t just a number; it’s a story, a collection of lessons, failures, victories, and moments that define who I am.

This past year has been one of transformation. I enrolled in writing program, started my book, and made the decision to shift my focus entirely to reading and writing. Retirement isn’t an end; it’s a beginning: my chance to build something of my own. A business? Maybe. A career in storytelling? Absolutely.

I think about all the times I hesitated in the past, all the ideas I pushed aside because life was too busy. Now, time feels different, not running out, but opening up. I have the wisdom of experience and the curiosity of someone still eager to learn.

Tonight, I’ll celebrate with the people who matter most, and they’ll joke that I’m “almost 50.”

But inside, I know the truth: This is the best I’ve ever been.
