Once Upon A Time
When we were young, I was fearless. I’d climb higher than I should, run faster than I could, speak before thinking, dream without limits. We didn’t overthink it. We just did.
What made us that way? I don’t really know. Maybe it was just not knowing enough to be afraid.
Then we got older. Slowly, things crept in. Doubt. Failure. Judgment. Fear. We just started to see more of it. We learned about what could go wrong. We saw what loss looked like.
Being fearless is not constrained by age. It’s not about how many years have passed, but about holding onto the belief that when something isn’t probable, it is still possible.
We’ve got the whole road ahead; let our braver selves take us somewhere amazing.
