Doubting Myself, One Shelf At A Time
Starting a business? You’ll meet the Devil of Self-Doubt. He’ll say, “You’re not good enough” or “What if it fails?” But don’t listen, he’s just trying to stop you.
Step 1: Spot the Devil
Self-doubt likes to disguise itself as being “realistic.” It’s just fear trying to hold you back. Recognize it and keep going.
Step 2: Laugh and Keep Moving
When doubt creeps in, laugh. You’re building something great, and no fear should stop you.
Step 3: Find Support
Talk to people who believe in you. Their encouragement will remind you that you can do this.
Step 4: Take Action
The best way to beat doubt is to act. Even small steps forward are progress.
Launching a business is like trying to put together IKEA furniture: there’s a lot of confusion, some swearing, and at the end, you’re not sure how it all fits together.
But hey, it stands, and at least it's functional… for now.
