The Secret Ingredient To Entrepreneurship
It all started in the kitchen, with my Pakistani mom shouting, “Slow down! This is biryani, not daal!”
My mom’s biryani is not just food: it’s magic. The smell can bring the whole family to the kitchen in seconds. It’s spicy, tasty, and full of love (and sometimes a little drama). If biryani could talk, it would say, “Eat me and forget your problems.”
One day, while helping her cook (okay, mostly just watching), I thought: What if I sell this? Maybe I don’t need to invent an app or wear a suit. Maybe I just need rice, meat, and my mom’s secret spice mix.
So now, I’m dreaming big: biryani boxes, a food truck, maybe even a YouTube channel: “Biryani with Ammi.”
The lesson? Your first business idea might be sitting in your kitchen. You don’t always need a big plan. Sometimes, you just need your mom, her biryani, and a little courage.
