生き甲斐
Finding it makes each day more meaningful and full of possibility.
Amin: Ikigai, I’m sick of you. Everyone keeps saying I need you to be happy. But guess what? I work a 9-to-5, and I’m surviving just fine without your so-called purpose.
Ikigai: Surviving? That’s all? You’re just barely getting by.
Amin: Excuse me? I have a job, I pay my bills, and I enjoy my weekends. Not everyone needs some deep, life-changing mission.
Ikigai: Oh, so your grand purpose is… waiting for Friday? Wow. Truly inspiring.
Amin: Hey, I work hard! And if my purpose is making sure I don’t get fired, then so be it.
Ikigai: That’s not purpose; that’s fear with a paycheck. Don’t you ever wonder if you’re meant for more?
Amin: Meant for more? Like what? Becoming a monk? Quitting my job to “find myself” on a mountain? Please. Mortgage is due on the first.
Ikigai: I’m not saying you should quit, but work shouldn’t feel like CrossFit (hehehe).
Amin: Oh, I enjoy work: I enjoy the part where money appears in my account.
Ikigai: Wow, what a legacy. Here lies Amin. He was… adequately employed.
Amin: You know what? Fuck you! Always acting like you know everything. Like I’m just some lost soul waiting for your wisdom.
Ikigai: I mean… you kinda are.
Amin: Oh, shut up! Just because you make some sense doesn’t mean I’m ready to admit it.
Ikigai: Denial is a natural part of growth. Take your time.
Amin: Oh, don’t get all wise on me! Change is hard.
Ikigai: So is staying stuck.
Amin: Yeah, yeah. But what if I fail?
Ikigai: Then you learn, you grow, and you try again. Every small step, every mistake, and every lesson brings you closer to what truly fulfills you.
Amin: Calm down, the Pope’s still alive!
